In the morning we visit of Berat, its citadel which is still lived inside its walls. It houses also the small but very interesting Onufri Icon Museum inside St. Mary’s church.  A walk around its perimeter walls offers wonderful panoramas. We continue in avillage outside berat for an agro-tourism experience anong the hills full of dense vegetation. In the drive to the capital Tirana. Stop halfay to visit Apollonia ancient site and important antique city during Roman times. Drive to Tirana. In the afternoon we take a walking tour of the capital. Here the villa of the ex-dictator and other high ranking members of the communist party used to live in relative luxury while the rest of the country suffered and struggled to make ends meet.
